Trust me on this – when someone first told me about this, I got under my Jeep and looked at the welds and they looked fine, and I tried to move it and nothing moved and I thought no way, that can’t be it. But I tried it anyway, ‘cuz it’s easy and takes like 2 minutes so I figured WTF.

12/6/2018 · Looking to see if anyone has had a similar problem. I have recently noticed an annoying rattle / buzzing sound with acceleration in 2000-3000 rpm range in 1st, 2nd, 3rd gears. It seems like it occurs at a certain exhaust note pitch and it seems to be coming from the dash area but it is hard to localize. My SRT has only 1300 miles on it.
12/20/2016 · I am the proud owner of my fourth Jeep , well 2nd open body. CJ7, two Liberty’s and now a 2017 Wrangler Unlimited Sport. Looking forward to hitting the trails. One question, getting a metallic rattle when I accelerate , goes away at high speeds. checking pipes all seem to tight. Wheels and hubs next, any suggestions.
8/8/2015 · OK, so whenever I accelerate from a stop I get this rattle or noise that sounds like it is coming from the exhaust. Stops at around 15-20 MPH. This is a 2015, and I remember the same thing with a 2013 I had. Must be a common problem that somebody knows a fix.
